Mount Robson/Yuh-hai-has-kun - Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada  (2015)

Referring to the mountain's striated appearance, the earliest inhabitants of the region, the Texqakallt, called this mountain Yuh-hai-has-kun or the mountain of the spiral road. At nearly 13,000 feet, Mount Robson is the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. While there are many peaks in the southern parts of this range that reach grander heights, there are few as striking as Robson. The imposing Emperor Face rises over 7,500 feet from the beautiful turquoise waters of the glacially fed lake below; it's hard to imagine a more idyllic scene. Looking closely you can see icebergs dotting the aptly named Berg Lake which were released during the daily calving events of the Berg Glacier. After four days and nights of on and off rain, we were greeted with some clearing weather in the morning of our fifth day and a incredible sunset that evening.
